Join Our Expanding Network of Therapists

Please carefully read the following information before applying to ensure you meet our eligibility criteria and can provide all the necessary supporting documentation.

Sparta Health is continually expanding, and we welcome highly skilled therapists to join our network. We ideally require all therapists to have at least two years of post-qualification experience in clinical practice and to be registered with the BACP, UKCP, or NCS as a minimum. We classify 'qualified' as holding a Level 4 Diploma or equivalent level qualification. If you do not yet have two years of post-qualification experience in clinical practice, please forward your CV to us at healthenquiries@sparta-group.co.uk for consideration.

We are currently only looking for therapists who can offer face-to-face therapy. If you provide therapy online only, please do not apply at this time, as we currently have sufficient online therapists to meet our needs.

Areas where we are seeking Therapists

At present, we are specifically seeking therapists located in the following areas:

Cornwall
Cumbria
Hertfordshire
Middlesbrough

If you are not based in one of these locations, we regret that we are unable to consider your application at this time.

Preferred Therapeutic Approach

We are particularly interested in therapists who integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) into their counselling practice. If you use CBT as part of your approach, we encourage you to apply.

Required Supporting Documentation

In addition to completing the web form below, you must submit the following documentation to support your application. These should be emailed to healthenquiries@sparta-group.co.uk:

Professional Indemnity Insurance Certificate
Proof of Right to Work in the UK (e.g., a photocopy/picture of your passport, National Insurance card, birth certificate, or identity card)
Enhanced DBS Certificate (a copy/photo of your original certificate, which must show the Adult Barred List as 'None Recorded')
Clinic Room Photos (both internal and external; if you do not have these yet, you may still proceed, but they will be required before network activation)

Please ensure you have emailed all the required supporting documentation when submitting your application via the web form. We will not process any applications unless all the necessary supporting documents have been provided.

Please note that we require all of our clinicians to have an enhanced DBS check dated within the last 3 years (we can accept older certificates if you are registered with the DBS Update Service). The enhanced DBS should include child and adult barred lists, appropriate to the age of clients you work with.
